Job Summary
Provide quality instruction for students in Special Education (ASD) at Sullivan PK-8, aligning with Minnesota state standards and district goals. Employ diverse assessment strategies to inform instructional decisions, collaborate with peers to implement best practices, communicate regularly with families, and participate in ongoing professional development; may contribute to the campus STEM team to ensure integrated instruction across disciplines. Role requires creating safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments and applying CAS/AB strategies to meet diverse student needs. Bachelor's degree required; Minnesota teaching license in ASD or related area (or pending licensure) expected; Master's or PhD preferred. 1.0 FTE, 42 weeks; salary range $55,796–$116,593.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Valid Autism Spectrum Disorders or Academic and Behavioral Strategist Minnesota teaching license; or proof of pending approved licensure
- Resume and Cover Letter mandatory to apply for any position
- Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting
- Master's or PhD preferred
