Job Summary

Develop lesson plans and instructional materials while maintaining effective classroom management and addressing learning and behavior issues. Evaluate student accomplishments regularly using multiple assessment methods and provide progress reports to parents and staff. Communicate constructively with families, adhere to board policies and health and safety regulations, and share responsibility for student supervision during school hours. Stay current in subject matter knowledge by attending workshops, seminars, and staff development sessions as required.

Required Qualifications

  • NC Teaching License in appropriate subject area
  • Qualifications to obtain a NC teaching license
