Job Summary
Conduct classroom instruction and manage student learning activities in accordance with district curriculum standards. Deliver lessons across assigned subject areas while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and adhere to school board policies regarding discipline and conduct. Complete required administrative duties including attendance tracking, grading, and parent communication as outlined in the educator's handbook. Apply for educator certification if currently holding a valid certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-employment drug testing
- Pre-employment Level II ground check
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States
- Age 18 years or older
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university that qualifies for Florida Educator Certification
- Valid Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) educator's certificate
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position for which you are applying, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Eligibility for (re)employment based on the Florida Retirement System (FRS) guidelines
- Authorization for background checks regarding employment or education history
- Ability to provide contact information for four most recent positions of employment
