Job Summary
Conduct sixth-grade instruction in a classroom setting while maintaining compliance with Florida State Statute 435.04. Submit to a Level 2 background check including fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records, national checks through the FBI, local law enforcement searches, and registry searches for any state of residence in the preceding five years. Complete all required background screening steps before employment eligibility is confirmed by the Agency for Health Care Administration.
Required Qualifications
- Elementary (K-6) certification
- Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04
- Eligibility by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
- National criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies
- Search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years
