Job Summary
Teaches middle school drama to 6th–8th graders following the District standards-based curriculum; develops lesson plans, adapts instruction to varied learning needs, conducts instruction in groups and individually, administers and grades assessments, tracks student progress, and communicates with families. Responsibilities include monitoring student behavior, coordinating with administrators and teachers, preparing student attendance and activity reports, and participating in potential extra-duty activities such as coaching or summer programs. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field and a valid CDE teaching license; a Master’s degree is required only for Concurrent Enrollment roles. Demonstrates commitment to equity, integrity, collaboration, and student-centered outcomes. Based in Denver, CO within DPS, a union-represented position with salary information typically defined by the district’s teacher schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required
