Teacher - Secondary - Health and Physical Education

Teach health and physical education to secondary students, developing lesson plans aligned with SOL standards and promoting physical fitness. Collaborate with fellow teachers to implement a balanced program, assess student learning, maintain standards of behavior, ensure equipment/safety checks, and communicate progress with parents and counselors. Requires knowledge of instructional concepts and methodologies, strong communication and decision-making skills, and eligibility for a Virginia teaching license with Health and Physical Education endorsements.
