Teacher - Secondary - English

Provide students with appropriate in-person and district or virtual instruction in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person, distance, and virtual learning that reflect accommodations for differences in individual student differences; use instructional strategies aligned with district curriculum; assess student learning and adjust instruction; collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs; manage classroom behavior; facilitate both in-person and virtual learning environments; participate in staff development and comply with district policies; support extracurricular activities as assigned and maintain professional communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
