Job Summary
Plan, deliver, and assess algebra instruction for secondary students at Chesterfield County Public Schools; develop math curriculum, teach and assess writing, monitor student progress, and adapt instruction to meet group/individual needs. Collaborate with faculty, communicate with parents, ensure compliance with federal/state statutes and local policies, manage classroom behavior, supervise before/after school activities, and participate in district initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Algebra I
- Applicants must successfully complete FBI Criminal History Investigation
- State Police Criminal History Investigation
- Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigation
- Tuberculosis Screening/Test
