Meet and instruct assigned 1st through 8th-grade science classes at designated times, planning programs that address individual student needs and establishing clear objectives for lessons and projects. Create a conducive learning environment, employ varied instructional techniques, and assess student accomplishments regularly to diagnose learning abilities and provide progress reports. Prepare for classes, maintain accurate records, and implement district educational goals while protecting students, equipment, and facilities. Encourage behavioral standards, assist administration with student conduct policies, and remain available to students and parents outside instructional hours as required. Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides or volunteers, attend staff meetings, and support the CORE Literacy and WOW initiatives.
