Job Summary
The Teacher (School Age Recess Monitor) at YMCA is responsible for ensuring the social, physical, spiritual, and mental development of children while prioritizing their safety and wellbeing. This part-time role includes planning and implementing lesson plans, documenting attendance, and maintaining a clean classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Six months experience working in early childhood field strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates without a valid license may still be hired but will not be eligible to drive YMCA vehicles until requirements are met.
- Required to work summer months/Day Camp.
