Job Summary
Part-time Teacher's Aide providing after-school care in Portland public schools through YMCA programs (2:00-6:00pm). Assists lead staff to maintain a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom, implements engaging curriculum, and fosters positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community. May travel to other YMCA sites within the Columbia-Willamette Association. Required Qualifications
- Pass a YMCA Background Check
- Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- At least 14 years of age
