Job Summary

Required Qualifications
- Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures
- Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors
- Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays
- Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating
- Assists in managing effective classroom transitions
- Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques
- Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained
- Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
- Communicates effectively with parents
- Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in child care industry preferred
