Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities while supervising children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play. Support children with daily routines, including toileting, handwashing, and transitions, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Help prepare materials, promote positive behavior, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Communicate effectively with staff regarding children's needs. This role requires a high school diploma, background check, and immunizations, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:40 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting
- Up-to-date immunizations and health clearance
- Must be reliable, patient, and attentive
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with young children (daycare, preschool, or similar setting)
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
