Job Summary
Elementary Teacher (0.4 FTE continuing contract) at Lake Stickney Elementary School in Mukilteo SD, divided 0.2 FTE Resource and 0.2 FTE LAP Bilingual. Plan, prepare and deliver instruction aligned to state standards and district curriculum for students with diverse needs; use formative and summative assessments; analyze data to modify instruction; collaborate with parents and school community to promote student success; foster a safe, positive learning environment; maintain records; participate in meetings and district initiatives; supervise assigned classified staff; adhere to district policies and Code of Professional Conduct; maintain attendance and regular hours. Required: Valid WA teaching certificate with endorsements in special education and ELL/ESL. Preferred: second language or language acquisition background, additional endorsements in ELL, special education, and/or reading.
