SPECIAL SERVICES TEACHER (0.4 FTE continuing contract resource teaching position at Discovery Elementary School) plans, prepares, and delivers a quality educational program based on state standards, district curriculum, IEP goals, and effective instruction to students with diverse needs. Plan and provide clear, intentional instruction aligned to individual student IEP goals, use multiple data elements to assess progress, modify instruction, and promote student achievement. Communicate and collaborate with parents and school community to support student success, foster a safe, positive learning environment, maintain accurate records, participate in meetings addressing student goals and needs, direct the work of assigned classified staff, implement district policies and the Code of Professional Conduct, maintain consistent attendance, and fulfill other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
