Job Summary
Guide students toward achieving their full potential by transforming curriculum standards into engaging learning experiences. Prepare and deliver instruction appropriate to diverse student populations, including those with special needs, while creating lesson plans aligned with state and district standards. Use assessment data to improve instruction, facilitate research-based best practices, and effectively implement Individual Education Plans. Establish classroom routines, document behavior issues, and participate in team reviews for low-performing students. Assume legal responsibility for student supervision and maintain accurate records as required by law. Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and administrators to uphold the district's mission of equity and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriately Certified for teaching position according to the Arizona Department of Education Certification Guidelines
- Possession of a valid AZ Department of Public Safety issued IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- SEI endorsement obtained or coursework completed
- K-5 Literacy endorsement in process or completed if teaching in K-5 classroom
- Valid driver's license
