Job Summary
Provide direct education formation to one cohort of infants and toddlers, focusing on social, emotional, physical, linguistic, and cognitive development. Develop individual goals for children, conduct ongoing assessments, and facilitate transitions into the educational setting while encouraging parent engagement. Maintain sensitivity to each youth's culture and attend required staff meetings, trainings, and education field trips. Supervise clients indoors and outdoors with a valid driver's license and personal vehicle. Work flexible hours, holidays, and weekends as a full-time temporary role up to six days per week.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Child Development with Infant and Toddler Development
- Minimum two (2) years of successful experience as an infant/toddler teacher or caregiver
- Basic computer skills
- Texas State Teacher Certification
- Must be able to work flexible hours, holidays, and weekends
- Able to supervise clients indoors and outdoors
- Must have a Valid Driver's License, Personal Vehicle, and Liability Insurance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education models and standards
- Bachelors degree in the field of Education, Kinesiology, Elementary/ Early Childhood Education
- Master's degree in Education
- Must be certified in teaching English as a Second Language or Teaching English to Speaker of other Languages
