Job Summary
PSR Teachers deliver weekly evening lessons for grades 1–8 rooted in Scripture, Church teaching, and the Sacraments; prepare engaging lessons aligned with Archdiocesan guidelines; foster a welcoming classroom environment rooted in Catholic values; incorporate prayer and liturgical seasons; communicate with parents; collaborate with the DRE and catechists on sacramental preparation and events; attend required trainings and safety workshops; and model Catholic faith and service.
Required Qualifications
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
- Completion of (or willingness to complete) Protecting God’s Children training and other Archdiocesan safe environment requirements
- Willingness to follow curriculum guidelines and participate in catechist formation
