Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment, assess and report student progress, and provide timely feedback to students and families. Collaborate with colleagues and leadership, participate in staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences, and uphold safeguarding and school policies. Demonstrate strong communication, classroom management, and ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs, including students with special educational needs. Utilize educational technology to enhance learning and engagement, and contribute to professional development and school improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
- Teaching certification or licensure valid for the specific state, region, or country
- Experience: Previous elementary teaching experience typically 1–3 years
- Familiarity with curriculum and educational standards relevant to the school
- Experience in lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management
- Participation in professional development and ongoing teacher training
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to support learning
