Teacher-Preschool

Instruct assigned preschool classes using faculty-approved curriculum guides while maintaining a learning environment conducive to student maturity and interests. Develop daily lesson plans, translate them into individualized learning experiences, and evaluate pupil academic and social growth through appropriate records and progress reports. Communicate regularly with parents via report cards, notes, and conferences to discuss student progress and interpret the school program. Establish behavior standards, supervise pupils during classroom and out-of-class activities, and safeguard student safety and facility equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records of instructional materials, participate in staff meetings and committees, and pursue professional development through inservice activities and college courses.
