Job Summary
Plan, organize and implement an instructional program in a learning environment that guides students to fulfill academic potential; duties include classroom management, planning, delivering instruction, developing and aligning lesson plans, monitoring progress, administering assessments, and coordinating compliant Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students; responsibilities span Special Education, Elementary and Secondary teacher roles, collaboration with instructional staff, parents, and community resources, and ensuring adherence to state/parish requirements and school policy.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate (Type C or Level 1).
- A bachelor’s degree in field.
