Teacher - Pre-Kindergarten (Henrie)

Plan, develop, and implement an effective instructional program to maximize student achievement. Requires Bachelor's Degree with appropriate state certification. Responsibilities include planning and organizing learning experiences, creating a conducive classroom environment, guiding instruction toward district goals, employing varied instructional techniques and media, assessing student progress and providing progress reports, collaborating with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, maintaining records, communicating with parents, supervising aides/volunteers, participating in district evaluations and meetings, and ongoing professional growth. Must demonstrate strong communication, behavior-management, cultural awareness, and use of technology in instruction.
