Job Summary
Plan, organize, and provide appropriate learning experiences within the assigned area, create a conducive classroom environment, guide learning toward district goals, employ diverse instructional techniques and media, assess student progress, collaborate with special education staff on IEPs, develop student behavior plans, maintain records, and participate in district professional-growth and evaluation processes; duties include coordinating teacher aides/volunteers and participating in school activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with state certification for subject and level assigned
- certification from an accredited teacher preparation program
- ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- excellent communication skills
