Job Summary
Pre-K teacher responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons; assessing student learning; collaborating with special education staff to modify curricula via IEP guidance; using technology to support instruction; managing student behavior; maintaining open communication with parents and staff; supervising teacher aides and volunteers; sponsoring extracurricular activities as needed; upholding district policies and TEA guidelines; fostering a positive classroom environment that supports intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- ESL certification required within 60 days of hire
