Teacher, Pre-K (CE)

Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements while preparing activities with accommodations for individual student differences. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing to guide instructional strategies. Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and create classroom environments conducive to learning. Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula for students with Individual Education Plans. Direct the work of assigned instructional aides and volunteers. Establish professional relationships with parents, students, colleagues, and community members. Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities and sponsor approved outside activities. Maintain emotional control under stress and comply with all state, district, and school regulations.
