Job Summary
Instructs 8th grade students in Pre-AP World History and Geography, developing and delivering curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs while ensuring safety, compliance with federal/state/local regulations, and district requirements. The role requires planning and organizing instructional activities for a full-time schedule (196 days/year), maintaining responsible classroom management, and fulfilling certification and background screening requirements in Pasco County Schools. The position may involve secondary-education-specific duties and potential additional instructional periods with appropriate supplemental compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
