Job Summary
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for children from infancy through school age, assist with small and whole-group instruction, set up and guide learning centers, provide supervision during indoor/outdoor play and routines, support physical/social/emotional/cognitive development, encourage kindness and independence, provide one-on-one attention when needed, communicate updates with parents and staff, and participate in training and ongoing learning; mentorship is available for 7 months with potential extension and an Apprenticeship Program to further Early Childhood Education, with a full-time schedule (7am-5:30pm) at Creative Beginnings CDC in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CDA, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education (Preferred not required)
- Minimum 6 months experience in licensed child care center
- NSC First Aid/CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to work Monday - Friday 7am to 5:30pm
