Job Summary
Conduct classroom instruction in Visual and Performing Arts for a 10-month schedule with an additional stipend. Deliver lessons that foster joyful, healing, and liberatory learning spaces while maintaining high expectations through an asset-based lens. Collaborate with colleagues, families, and students to create equitable conditions and support literacy and post-secondary readiness aligned with district strategic initiatives. Engage in self-reflection and professional learning community activities to grow as an anti-racist educator.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Eligible for employment in the US
- Pass a criminal background check
- Preliminary or Clear California teaching credential authorizing instruction in core TK-12 curriculum
