Job Summary
Provide specialized instruction for students who are blind or visually impaired; collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and independence; adapt instructional materials and teach the use of assistive technology; support students in both academic and functional skill development; write and implement IEPs, track progress, and maintain documentation. Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education with Visual Impairment certification and Arizona TVI certification (or eligibility); in-person, full-time role in Deer Valley, AZ with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education with certification in Visual Impairment
- Arizona Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
