Job Summary
Provide itinerant TVI services and consultation to K–12 students with visual impairments across multiple campuses. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while delivering direct instruction in Braille, screen readers, low vision aids, and compensatory skills. Collaborate with educators to design accommodations ensuring curriculum access, and coordinate with school teams to manage caseloads, schedule updates, and documentation. Earn $40.00–$46.10 per hour with a 35-hour work week. This role supports students in Bel Air, MD, during the 2026–2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Visual Impairments, or Special Education
- Active Maryland Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Certification
- Prior experience providing direct and consultative services in a school-based or pediatric setting
Desired Qualifications
- Braille proficiency strongly preferred
