Job Summary
Talented teacher of maths sought to deliver an ambitious maths curriculum across KS3 and KS4 at Havant Academy. The role involves implementing evidence-based teaching strategies to foster fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving, engaging in instructional coaching and collaborative planning, using assessments to diagnose misconceptions and close attainment gaps, and inspiring students to pursue mathematics beyond GCSE. The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of high expectations, safeguarding, strong relationships with students and families, and a commitment to ongoing professional development within TKAT's Elevate coaching model.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- experience teaching maths at KS3/KS4 preferred
- ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
- demonstrated impact on student progress
- commitment to CPD and professional growth
- ability to work collaboratively within a maths team
- experience supporting SEND pupils and high-attainers a plus
