Job Summary
Teach Graphic Arts and Design to students at the Camden County Technical Schools Pennsauken Campus for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction aligned to New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and/or Career Competencies, developing and implementing lesson plans with differentiated strategies, utilizing instructional technologies, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, documenting student progress, communicating with parents/guardians, collaborating with colleagues, and upholding district policies including safety, equity, and Nepotism guidelines. The role requires a valid CTE endorsement in Design/Applied Arts or Graphic Arts/Design, strong content knowledge, effective teaching practices, and adherence to district policies; the salary range is $58,656-$92,982 and benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess or be eligible for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) endorsement in Design and Applied Arts, Graphic Arts, or Graphic Design
- Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
- Thorough knowledge Industry Standards and/or New Jersey Student Learning Standards
- Thorough knowledge and familiarity with instructional technologies
- Ability to maintain a safe, secure, and caring learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to communicate with parents/guardians
- Successfully undergo a criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
- Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel
- Meets NJ residency requirements or willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment
- Must follow the guidelines of the Camden County Technical Schools’ Nepotism Policy, File Code: 0142.1
- Salary is based on education, experience and/or military service according to the Board of Education of the Camden County Technical Schools and Cam/Voc Education Association Agreement Salary Guide - $58,656-$92,982
