Job Summary
Plan and deliver standards-aligned music instruction for elementary students in grades K–5; teach vocal and instrumental music; differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners; integrate technology into instruction; develop lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and state standards; collaborate with PLCs and families; assess student progress and provide performance opportunities such as concerts and assemblies; maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment and manage classroom routines; support school and district events and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Elementary Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Washington State K–12 Music endorsement required.
- Elementary Education endorsement preferred.
