Teacher - Music - CVES

This is a 2026/2027 school year teaching role in Music for Cecilia, KY. Responsibilities include meeting and instructing assigned classes, planning a program of study aligned with student needs, creating a conducive learning environment, preparing for classes with requested documentation, guiding learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives, protecting students and school property, maintaining records as required, assisting administration with policies, being available to students/parents outside instructional hours when requested, collaborating with colleagues, attending staff meetings, promoting school programs, communicating with parents about student progress, remaining on campus during the school day as required, participating in textbook selection and inventory, applying board-adopted policies and guidelines, incorporating technology into daily tasks, maintaining regular attendance, and upholding professional conduct. Education required includes a valid state teaching certificate for the specific subject area and/or grade level. The position notes 187 days of employment with salary/year established by the Board. Provisions for extended days may apply for specified positions. Familiarity with technology in daily tasks and professional collaboration is expected.
