Teacher - Middle School Library (SY 26-27) [One year position]

Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning in the middle school library. Instruct and monitor students on learning materials and technology while establishing clear objectives and providing feedback. Manage student behavior by maintaining a warm, culturally relevant environment and use data to evaluate progress and adjust strategies. Maintain accurate records of student development, assign and grade work according to state standards, and communicate regularly with families and colleagues. Actively participate in department, school, and district meetings and professional development. This one-year position requires Structured Literacy Awareness within one year of hire and reports to the Principal.
