Job Summary
Middle Grades Language Arts teacher provides instruction under supervision, develops and implements lesson plans aligned to NC standards, assesses students, maintains records including IEPs and 504 Plans, administers tests, and collaborates with parents and administrators. Requires strong classroom management, familiarity with NC Department of Public Instruction standards, district curriculum, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; expectations include planning, data analysis for instructional decisions, and participation in professional development and PLC activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid NC Teaching certification or eligible for NC Teaching certification in assigned area
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
