Job Summary
Implement the District's instructional technology programs and K-8 Technology TEKS while collaborating with the school community to prepare students for state standards. Develop effective lesson plans with immediate and long-range goals, choose appropriate materials, and administer the classroom to create an environment conducive to learning. Manage student behavior using positive discipline techniques, supervise safety during classes and school-related activities, and coordinate with team members on integrated projects. Maintain accurate records for student evaluation, attendance, and technology equipment, while initiating communications with parents to inform them of programs and student progress. Report to work daily per your schedule approved by your campus principal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited College or University
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of successful classroom experience
- Reading Certification for teachers applying to teach Pre-k, Grade 4, and Grade 5
