Teacher (Math/Science) - 2026-27

Teach Math and Science with a focus on delivering organized, engaging instruction and effective classroom management to support student learning. Responsibilities include planning and presenting instructional material, monitoring student performance, providing timely feedback, maintaining clear routines, and collaborating with staff to align objectives with curricular goals. Proven ability to manage time-on-task, enforce behavioral expectations, and communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues is essential. A valid North Carolina teaching licensure/eligibility and a bachelor’s degree in education or related area are required. Strong instructional planning, assessment, and data-informed decision-making skills, plus ability to adapt lessons to diverse learners, are preferred. This role emphasizes facilitating instruction, monitoring student progress, and maintaining an orderly, inclusive classroom environment.
