Job Summary
Teaches North Carolina Standard Course of Study/ Common Core and Essential Standards for assigned grade. Plans, organizes and presents instruction and instructional environments to help students learn subject matter and skills, contributing to educational and social development. Maintains standards of pupil behavior, uses instructional materials effectively, assesses student progress, and collaborates with administrators, parents, and staff. Participates in district committees and school activities, communicates with parents, and supports classroom supervision and use of technology in instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited college/university.
- Must hold or be qualified to hold a North Carolina Professional Educator's License.
