Teacher-Math Interventionist

Meet and instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times. Plan a program of study that meets individual student needs using varied instructional techniques. Create a learning environment appropriate to student maturity and interests while guiding lessons toward curriculum goals. Assess student accomplishments regularly and provide progress reports as required. Maintain accurate records per law and district policy. Make provision for availability to students and parents outside instructional hours when requested. Plan and supervise teacher aide and volunteer assignments, evaluating their performance cooperatively with department heads. Attend staff meetings and serve on required committees. Strive to maintain and improve professional competence.
