Teacher Math HS

Plan and instruct students on District and Illinois State Standards aligned curriculum. Communicate progress with parents and students in writing and verbally. Diligently enter student grades into appropriate databases. Develop lesson plans and goals that meet district expectations. Conduct and interpret formal and informal assessments to evaluate progress, maintain records, and develop intervention strategies. Collaborate with support teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to address individual student needs, modifying lessons and resources as needed. Set clear expectations, maintain a safe learning environment, and model behaviors promoting social, emotional, and physical development. Participate in staff development and school improvement activities; plan and incorporate best practices. Participate in events outside the regular day and be willing to coach a sport or sponsor activities. Perform other related duties as assigned.
