Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills; manage instructional time and student behavior; present lessons with clear objectives and relevant demonstrations; monitor student performance using various assessment methods; provide prompt and constructive feedback; coordinate and direct activities of teacher assistants; maintain instructional plans aligned to curricular goals; interact effectively with students, co-workers, parents, and the community; perform non-instructional duties as assigned; requires licensure-qualifying degree in education or related area and NC DPI authorization.
