Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills; manage instructional time and student behavior; present lessons fluently with clear objectives; monitor student performance using a variety of assessments; provide timely feedback; coordinate with teacher assistants and maintain records; ensure instruction aligns with school and district goals and licensure requirements for NC DPI; demonstrate ability to motivate students, maintain a safe and orderly classroom, and facilitate inclusive learning experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
