Job Summary
Classroom Teacher for Mathematics at Camelback High School in Phoenix, AZ. Responsible for designing, planning, and providing instruction using a variety of methods and resources appropriate for all learners; maintaining a positive, safe learning environment; assessing student learning through formal and informal methods; maintaining required records; communicating regularly with parents; collaborating with colleagues, parents, the community, and other agencies to foster student learning; connecting academic knowledge to real-life situations; engaging in professional development; demonstrating professional knowledge; and performing duties per Board policies and state statutes.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree.
- Awareness of student needs; i.e., at-risk, ethnic, limited English proficient, exceptional.
- Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or willingness to staff development participation.
