Job Summary
Provide quality instruction aligned to Minnesota State Standards and district goals. Deliver instruction across mathematics with emphasis on diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to inform instructional decisions and promote student self-management of learning. Implement inquiry-based, rigorous tasks; foster thinking, reasoning, and problem solving; collaborate with peers to plan and implement best practices; communicate regularly with families to support student learning. Maintain a developmentally appropriate, safe, respectful learning environment and align curriculum with state standards; participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to campus STEM efforts. Requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid Minnesota math teaching license (5-12/7-12/9-12/5-8 or Middle School); Master's or PhD preferred. FTE .60 (42 weeks) indicating part-time staffing; open until filled.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Minnesota Math, 5-12 or 7-12 or 9-12 or 5-8 or Middle School teaching license; or proof of pending approved licensure
- Master's or PhD preferred
- Experience: prior successful student teaching or teaching in urban, multicultural education setting (implied)
