Job Summary
Teach appropriate grade-level standard-based curriculum to students in 9th through 12th grade while the classroom teacher is absent for an extended period. Counsel students to encourage achievement, monitor conduct, and evaluate performance, behavior, and social development. Prepare educational course outlines, administer tests, and communicate with parents and administrators to resolve academic and behavioral issues. Report grades using District software and prepare required student and attendance reports. This temporary assignment runs from September 11, 2026, to December 18, 2026, with a salary of $30.765 per hour. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a valid Colorado teaching license and reside in Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
- Have a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position
