Job Summary
Teach library media literacy and information evaluation, guiding students to access and use information from multiple sources. Oversee building-wide computer needs and the acquisition and circulation of materials and equipment. Provide professional development to staff on effective integration of media and technology into the curriculum and on ethical uses of information and copyright. Collaborate with peers and families to support learning, align with Minnesota State Standards and district goals, and contribute to a diverse, urban classroom environment. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and a valid Minnesota teaching license; bilingual Spanish skills are noted as a qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- A valid Minnesota teaching license; or proof of pending approved licensure
- Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting
- Bilingual Spanish
