Job Summary
The Kindergarten Teacher will provide a variety of teaching services to assist students in developing foundational skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary for future learning. This role involves modeling and implementing strategies to enhance educational programming, maintaining confidentiality, and following district guidelines to create a safe learning environment. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student performance, managing classroom behavior, and participating in departmental and extracurricular activities. Continuing professional growth and collaboration with families are essential aspects of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Applicable North Carolina (NC) Standard Professional Educator's License or in process of obtaining
- Minimum of a BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university

- Demonstrated leadership

Additional Requirements
- Teachers that hold an Out of State License must apply for a license with the NC Department of Public Instruction
