Teacher K-2

Position is a full-time, 10-month K-2 teaching role in Albemarle, NC. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans and instructional materials, implementing effective teaching strategies, maintaining classroom management, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs, regularly evaluating student progress using multiple assessments, providing parent and family communications, upholding district policies and health and safety standards, participating in professional development and staff meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and integrating technology to enhance learning. The teacher should foster an inclusive, ethical learning environment, align instruction with the NC Standard Course of Study, and demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and strong communication skills to support student growth and community involvement. Requires NC Teaching License or ability to obtain one; duties also include planning, data-informed instruction, and using varied instructional methods and assessments to support student achievement.
