Job Summary
Teacher K-2, full-time ten months, reports to the Principal. Develops lesson plans and instructional materials, uses effective teaching strategies, maintains classroom management, differentiates instruction to meet diverse learner needs, regularly evaluates student progress with multiple assessment methods, communicates with parents, and collaborates with families, staff, and specialists. Upholds board policies, district goals, and health and safety policies; maintains professional ethics and confidentiality; participates in professional development and staff collaboration; integrates technology to maximize student learning; aligns instruction with the NC Standard Course of Study and prepares students to build foundational skills for future learning.
Required Qualifications
- NC Teaching License in appropriate subject area or have qualifications to obtain a NC teaching license
